Ancient arts and cultures has tremendous meaning hidden in the lifestyles and food. Almost every ancient person we think about were illiterates but the way they learnt science in different pattern or I can call it practical way is most convincing even today!! Yes I’m talking about our grand mothers and great grand mothers who were having hold on enriched recipes for doctor and medicine less life. We Indians are blessed with many different spices which has medicine for any disease god forbid!! Olden days scientists were our grandmothers and ultimate laboratories were their kitchens. Having good amount of physical activity along with healthy food made them beautiful in an unique way. I wish we will continue the way of living again with civilisation as an add on part to it. I guess slowly every old method is coming back as a old wine in a new bottle. Glad to retrieve them in our every day life style.
Grand ma’s recipes were so amazing. I refer to one of the oldest recipes here Ragi Malt it used to be either every day morning’s breakfast or would be like a evening power drink. The recipe is very flexible to eat in solid state or drink in liquid form with many natural nutrients in it. Ingredients added to it are fantabulous and are best suited to eat in any climate irrespective of age. Because of good amount of physical activity and consumed healthy food I doubt the diabetes kind of diseases were ever existed.
The tendency of the ingredients added to the recipe would have heat effect, cold effect, vata,pitta in balance to control our body As we say any thing consumed in limits would balance our body mass and health too.
