Conquer your Fear, Dreams

Conquer your Fear, Dreams

As Maithili lay on the bed, head burrowed in her arms, copious amount of tears flowed like a hot summer storm down her cheeks into the satin pillow. Her timorous being, felt valiant, having finally overcome
her fear and apprehensions. It had been no easy job
telling her father that she had no intentions of continuing in the family firm as an advocate. She wanted to explore her options as a freelance photographer and escape to the Himalayas. The relentless board meetings in the dull grey office paled in comparison to the allure of capturing the snow capped mountains in the frame of her camera. Living in the high rises of her urban utopia could never have the warmth of homestays in the tiny houses of the locals that dotted the rugged landscape.
Having spoken up, she was engulfed by the enormity her first step.
Often it is not what you achieve, but what you have overcome that defines you. Aparna
